A baby boy!

We found out today we are going to be having a baby boy come January, this has sturred up the crafty bug in me which has been VERY lazy lately. Heres a list of things I want to make:

For Christmas Presents for Sam and Hubby:

Christmas tie
A new snow hat
A tool belt

Before the baby comes I would like to make:

A winter hat for the baby
Ties for the baby and Sam that match
A car seat blanket
Cute Hats
Large swaddeling blankets
Church quiet book

Well see what I really get done, between working and potty training I dont have much time left for crafting, wish me luck on my goals and I'll post what I make.

Shirts for Sam!

I started decorating shirts for Sam. Here are the three I've done so far, first a GOOB shirt, its a nick name we have around the hosue. I used a bleach pen and freezer paper to block the letters.

Then I made a Cool Dude shirt, bleach pen on the side then freezer paper and fabric paint for the letters. The last one is a Big Brother shirt, as we found out we are pregnant I just did freezer paper and fabric paint. I love how they have turned out and cant wait to do some more!

Another Baby Jacket

I made another baby Jacket, this one I am sending into a magazine called GreenCraft, its about using old things to make new crafty things. This jacket is out of two sweaters we had laying around and didnt use. I made it to fit an 18month old so Sammy can wear it next fall/winter. I freezer papered a drawing I made of a mommy and baby steggy onto the front. It was the first time I had done freezer paper painting on clothing and was so impressed with it! I hope you guys like it!!

Stephen wanted to wear it for you!

Coat for Sammy

While I was in Oregon I asked my family if they had any cloths they were going to get rid of that I could have to make baby cloths, here is my first one so far.
This sweatshirt is from David my little brother it is either an adult small or medium (I cut of the tag in the begining before checking).

First I used one of Sammy's outfits that is big on him to make a pattern on butcher paper.

After that I took the letter off the front that I wanted, took the sleeves, hood and poket off and started cutting. Sewed it together added buttons and the letters on the back and presto!

Doesnt he look so cute!!

Baby Shoes

So I finally got to making Sammy some soft soled shoes. They turned out so good!!! It's my first pair and they aren't perfect but I love them. I also added a cute little button on the front of each shoe. Here is the site I got the pattern and directions off of. I will definitely make more! If anyone wants me to make some for them I would be more than happy to, or even help you make them!!!

Here is one of the sets I made, Sammy has all these cute onesies but its so cold so these work perfect!
