GreenCraft

I have been featured in the new magazine GreenCraft by Stampington & Company. I was in two pages of the second volume released this month on pages 22 and 132!!! It is so exciting for me I have never been published an anything before. The magazine is a little spendy but had tons of great ideas I hope to try out very soon. You can check out Stampington & Company to order magazines or to check out the many others they have as well. I was featured for my refashioned baby sweatshirt I made for Sammy and they quoted me on another. I am hoping to start more crafting very soon as I have been on a big break due to moving. I have lots of new projects coming up so stay tuned!

Another Baby Jacket

I made another baby Jacket, this one I am sending into a magazine called GreenCraft, its about using old things to make new crafty things. This jacket is out of two sweaters we had laying around and didnt use. I made it to fit an 18month old so Sammy can wear it next fall/winter. I freezer papered a drawing I made of a mommy and baby steggy onto the front. It was the first time I had done freezer paper painting on clothing and was so impressed with it! I hope you guys like it!!

Stephen wanted to wear it for you!

Coat for Sammy

While I was in Oregon I asked my family if they had any cloths they were going to get rid of that I could have to make baby cloths, here is my first one so far.
This sweatshirt is from David my little brother it is either an adult small or medium (I cut of the tag in the begining before checking).

First I used one of Sammy's outfits that is big on him to make a pattern on butcher paper.

After that I took the letter off the front that I wanted, took the sleeves, hood and poket off and started cutting. Sewed it together added buttons and the letters on the back and presto!

Doesnt he look so cute!!
